Why we started Ollocal

Ollocal began with a single folding table at a weekend market. We had a handful of products from friends who made things by hand, and no real plan beyond helping them sell.

What we learned quickly is that the hardest part of being a local producer is not making the product. It is being seen. Shelf space is expensive, online reach is rented, and most small makers cannot afford either.

So we built the thing we wished existed: a place, physical and digital, where local products get the presentation they deserve and the people behind them get named.
